LWC Women's Golf Tied for 4th at Carey Fall Classic

Hattiesburg, MS - The Lindsey Wilson women's golf team sits in a tie for fourth place at the Carey Collegiate Fall Classic after the first day of competition at the par-72, 5,920-yard Canebrake Country Club.

The Blue Raiders and Mid-South Conference foe Cumberland (Tenn.) finished with a 304 team total and are just six strokes off tournament leaders Dalton State (Ga.) who finished their round at 298. Cumberlands (Ky.) and hosts school William Carey (Miss.) are tied for second at 302.


Seniors Dacie Bolton and Tara Rodenhust produced the best rounds for the Blue Raiders as they carded 3-over par 75 stroke rounds. Bolton finished with two birdies as Rodenhurst recorded.

Claire McLaughlin and Zofia Wojcik took 77 strokes for a 5-over par score to sit in a tie for 17th place. Megan Mann turned in an 83 as Katie Biddlecome - who played as an individual - carded an 87.

Lindsey Wilson closes out the Carey Collegiate Fall Classic with their final round Tuesday morning.
