LWC volleyball travels to Indiana Southeast tonight By Brady Budke The No. 10-ranked Lindsey Wilson volleyball team (9-3, 3-1 MSC) returns to action tonight as they travel to New Albany, Indiana to take on Indiana Southeast at 6pmCT at the IUS Activities Building. In their last match, the Blue Raiders fell to Life (Ga.) in a five-set Mid-South Conference battle at Biggers Sports Center on Sept. 13. The Blue Raiders are led on offense this season by Kasia Niderla, who ranks first in the NAIA in hitting percentage (.431). Niderla also ranks third in the Mid-South Conference averaging 4.1 kills/set. Autumn Proctor has tallied 283 assists for Lindsey Wilson, which is eighth best in the Mid-South Conference. On defense, Lindsey Wilson is lead by Peyton Johnston who has recorded 201 digs this season, which is fifth best in the Mid-South Conference. Kasia Niderla leads the team with 38 total blocks, which is tied for eight best in the Mid-South Conference. The Grenadiers (9-2) are coming off a five-set victory against Marietta (Ohio) and a four-set defeat against Denison (Ohio) Saturday night in the Earlham Tournament. Indiana Southeast finished 3-1 during the tournament. The Grenadiers rank 10th in the NAIA in kills per game with a 13.67 average. Indiana Southeast is led by Alyssa Cosgrove on offense, who has recorded 140 kills this season which is fourth best in the River States Conference. On defense, Kenna Burman has recorded 217 digs for the Grenadiers which is third best in the River States Conference. This marks the 36th meeting between the Blue Raiders and the Grenadiers.
