White leads Blue Raider Classic, Men's Golf tied for 4th By Chris Wells Lindsey Wilson men's golf is tied for fourth following today's opening round of the Blue Raider Kickoff Classic at The Pines at Lindsey Wilson. Lindsey Wilson shot a team-total 288 to sit eight shots of the pace set by Indiana Kokomo. Campbellsville University is second following its 281 and Thomas More (KKY) is third with a 282 in the 10-team tournament. Lindsey Wilson's Colby White leads the tournament after firing a 5-under par 66 over the 6,598-yard, par-71 layout. White -- playing as an individual -- carded an eagle and six birdies during the round. He leads the tournament at the halfway point in total birdies and par-4 scoring at 3-under par. Three players are two shots back of White at 3-under par and another four are three shots back including Etienne Rensburg after his 2-under 69. Rensburg also finished with six birdies during the round to post his best score of the season. Callum Burns is tied for 15th after an even-par 71 while Callum Blinkhorn is tied for 19th after an opening-round 73. Jeremiah Hayes and Cody Mingus are tied for 38th in the 69-man field with a 75. In addition to White, Shane Henderson, Scot Kirby, Blake Biggs, and Janik Hawlitzky all played as individuals. The quartet all shot 2-over par 73s today to tie for 19th.
