KSP: Casey Co accident results in fatality

Liberty, KY - Trooper Jake Harper is investigating a collision that occurred September 8th, 2019 at approximately 6:52amET, three miles north of Jacktown on KY 243.

Ashley Coulter, age 33 of Bardstown, was operating a 2008 Nissan Altima northbound on KY 243 when she ran off the right shoulder of the roadway, overcorrected, and struck a tree. Coulter was not belted and was ejected from the vehicle.



Coulter was pronounced deceased at the scene by the Casey County Coroner. Tpr. Harper was assisted at the scene by additional members of the Kentucky State Police, Casey County Sheriff's department, Casey County Fire, EMS and Rescue.
