Thomas Richard Wimsatt, 78, Clarkson, KY (1941-2019) Mr. Thomas Richard Wimsatt of Clarkson, Kentucky on Thursday, September 5, 2019. He was 78 years old. The Graveside services for Mr. Thomas Richard Wimsatt will be conducted at 11:30amCT on Monday, September 9, 2019, at Campbellsville Memorial Gardens, 700 Old US 68, Campbellsville, KY -. Bro. Garnett Wayne Davis will be officiating. Visitation is requested from 9amCT until 11amCT on Monday at the Cowherd and Parrott Funeral Home, 206 S. Main St., Greensburg, KY. Mr. Thomas Richard Wimsatt of Clarkson, Kentucky, son of the late Harlen Wimsatt and Mildred Thompson Enold was born on Thursday, May 15, 1941 in Mt. Carmel, Illinois and departed this life on Thursday, September 5, 2019 at the Norton's Hospital in Louisville. He was 78 years, three months and 21 days of age. He had made a profession of faith in Christ and was a veteran of the Navy. He was also a retired Material Handler for General Electric Company. He is survived by two sons and a daughter-in-law: Ricky and Julia Wimsatt, and Jeff Wimsatt all of Greensburg; two grandchildren: Gage and April Wimsatt of Greensburg, and Daniel Wimsatt of Louisville; two great grandchildren: Charli and Bristol Wimsatt ; one brother and sister-in-law: Jim and Jean Wimsatt of Ohio; his companion: Teresa Welch of Clarkson and a host of other relatives and friends. Thomas was also preceded in death by a brother and sister-in-law: Joseph and Peggy Wimsatt. Pallbearers: Johnny Houk, Tommy Akin, Ricky Wimsatt, Jeff Wimsatt, Gage Wimsatt Daniel Wimsatt Cowherd and Parrott Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
