LWC Women's Soccer heads to Mt. Vernon Nazarene on Sat. By Brady Budke The No. 6 Lindsey Wilson women's soccer team travels to Mount Vernon Nazarene (Ohio) on Saturday afternoon, August 24, 2019, at 1pmCT, to face the Cougars at Mount Vernon High School, 300 Martinsburg Rd, Mt Vernon, OH. The Blue Raiders (1-0-0) defeated Indiana Wesleyan 2-1 in overtime in their first game of the season on Tuesday night. Sina Cavelti netted the game-tying goal in the 87th minute, and also assisted in the game-winning goal in overtime which was netted by Amara Safuan. The Cougars (1-0-0) won their first game of the season 2-0 over Concordia (Mich.) on August 17. Brookelynn Semmelroth and Ashley Townsend each scored for the Cougars.
