Campbellsville Elementary preschool classes begin

By Calen McKinney

Campbellsville Elementary School preschool classes began Monday, Aug. 19, 2019. Forty students began classes with teachers Shannon Richardson and Suzanna Streeval, and assistants Tesa Novak and Jeanetta McGinnis, respectively.

Students spent the first day of school listening to stories, coloring, playing with their new friends, learning classroom procedures and rules and much more.

CES preschool students also played on the playground and enjoyed lunch together.

Enrollment in the CES preschool program is open ended.

Students have to meet criteria for acceptance into the program, which is open to children ages three to kindergarten. Ricky Hunt is director.
