Roberda McCubbin, 93, Campbellsville, KY (1925-2019) Roberda McCubbin of Campbellsville passed away on Saturday, August 17, 2019. She was 93 years old. The funeral service will be held at 11amET on Tuesday, August 20, 2019, at Parrott & Ramsey Funeral Home, 418 Lebanon Ave., Campbellsville, KY, officiated by Rev. Earl West. Burial will follow in Brookside Cemetery. Visitation is requested from 5pmET until 8pmET on Monday, August 19, 2019 at Parrott & Ramsey Funeral Home. Roberda McCubbin of Campbellsville, daughter of the late Arthur Hayes and Bessie Sidebottom Hayes, was born September 28, 1925 in Taylor County, Kentucky. She died at 8:20 A.M., Saturday, August 17, 2019 in Campbellsville. She professed faith in Christ and was a member of Liberty Cumberland Presbyterian Church where she also served as Elder. Roberda was a former custodian at Campbellsville Public Library. She united in marriage to Elmer "Boss" McCubbin December 22, 1945. He preceded her in death April 20, 1968. She is survived by one daughter and two sons: Sue Ann York and husband, Gary and Mike McCubbin of Campbellsville and Danny McCubbin and wife, Sharon of Webster; eight grandchildren: nineteen great-grandchildren: one brother, Clyde Hayes and wife, Ruth Ann of Campbellsville; several nieces and nephews and many other relatives and friends. She was also preceded in death by two daughters: Reta Faye Curry and Jane Carol McCubbin and one brother, Auburn Hayes. Expressions of sympathy are requested to be to Liberty Cumberland Presbyterian Church Fund and may be made at Parrott & Ramsey Funeral Home.
