Thearon 'Junior' Collins, 64, Russell County, KY

Junior Collins, 64, of Jamestown, KY passed away Friday, August 16, 2019 at Russell County Hospital.

Religious services will be held at Freedom Christian Church, Jamestown, at 11amCT Monday, August 19, with Bro. Wendell Roberts officiating. Friends are invited to call Sunday after 5pm at H. E. Pruitt Memory Chapel, and after 9am at the Church on Monday. Interment will be at Dixon Cemetery in Jamestown.



Junior was born in Jamestown, KY on July 20, 1955, a son of the late Violet (Shearer) and Thearon Collins.

He worked as a farmer and factory worker.

He was the husband of Barbara (Helm) Collins.

Junior is also survived by a daughter, Nikki, wife of Davey Burton, of Jamestown, KY;

Two sons - Casey Collins, and Jacob Collins, of Jamestown, KY Two brothers - Philip, husband of Christine Collins, of Jamestown, KY; Gary, husband of Marilyn Collins, of Russell Springs, KY

He is also survived by four grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother Donald Collins.

Family requests memorial donations be made to the Spirit of Christmas and can be made at the funeral home and at the church.
