Linda Faye Allen Reed, 74, Liberty, KY (1944-2019) Linda Faye Allen Reed, of Liberty, passed away on Wednesday, August 14, 2019, while surrounded by family. She was 74 years of age. The funeral service will be held at 11amET on Saturday, August 17, 2019, at McKinney-Brown Funeral Home, 752 Campbellsville St, Liberty, KY, with Bro. Brent Huggins officiating. Burial will follow in Whited Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6pmET to 9pmET on Friday, August 16, 2019, at McKinney-Brown Funeral Home. Born on December 13, 1944, in Casey County, Kentucky, she was a daughter of the late Patnie "Pink" and Edith Campbell Allen. Linda was a retired factory worker and loving matriarch. She was a member of Poplar Grove Baptist Church. She loved her family, quilting, tending to her lawn, and couponing. She is survived by her two children, Troy Vernon (Gail) Reed and Tonia Reed, both of Hustonville; three grandchildren, Gregory Keith Reed, Charissa Shaye (Corey) Edwards and Cheyenne Skye Gosser (Jason Luttrell); and three great-grandchildren, Audrey, Aubrey and Brooklyn Edwards. Other survivors include a brother, J.C. (MaryLou) Allen; and a host of nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by four brothers, Arvil Allen, Elvern Allen, Bernard Allen and Charles Allen; and a sister, Wanda Allen. Memorial contributions may take the form of sympathy to The Gideons International or Heritage Hospice. Arrangements are entrusted to McKinney-Brown Funeral Home.
