Laura Gupton presentation at TRAC

By Mike Watson

If you missed the program Monday at the Adair Public Library on the Huguenots by Laura Gupton, you missed an informative presentation!

Laura kept us on the edges of our seats as she detailed the origination of the group and the trials and tribulations of their moves in Europe and then to America. Examples of her own family--the Sublett's--illustrated the determination and fortitude of these pioneers in a new land.

On Saturday, August 17th, from NoonET to 2pmET, Laura will present a program at the Taylor Regional Archive Center, Campbellsville, on the use of family files in research, and the gems they contain.

TRAC is located at 1075 Campbellsville Bypass (Hwy 210), Campbellsville, KY 42718, phone 270-789-4343.

For more information on the program, inquire at the Adair County Public Library, 270-384-2472.
