Letter: Wishing Sgt Roy the best Comments re photo 84659 Congratulations on retirement CPD Sgt Gary Roy By Sheriff Josh Brockman Adair County Sheriff's Office I would like to recognize Sgt Gary Roy for his service to our community. I have worked with Gary for 18 years and he was one of a kind. When things got hairy sometimes he was one you never had to look for, he would be right beside you. When the stress got a little heavy you could always count on him to make you laugh with a joke or some ignorant prank he would pull on one of us. (All in good humor I will add). As a friend he was there to talk to you, and as a supervisor, he was one you could get get behind. Gary, I wish you the very best on whatever life holds for you next. Thank you for your service and I thank your family for supporting you and the time they sacrificed with you on nights, weekends, holidays, anniversaries and birthdays-- the things officers often miss out on. The City Police will have a hard time filling your shoes. Your friend, your brother, Josh Brockman, Sheriff of Adair County This story was posted on 2019-08-07 06:08:00
