Youth Agricultural Incentives Program By Teresa Bright The Kentucky Agricultural Development Board recently approved $30,000 in Ag Development Funds for an Adair County Youth Agricultural Incentives Program. This program was developed to facilitate a growing need for to encourage youth to engage in and explore agricultural opportunities. This is a cost-share program, and youth must be enrolled in elementary, middle or high school, or home school and be at least 9 years of age on January 1, 2019. Applications for the Youth Ag Incentives program will be available August 12 through August 30, 2019 at the Adair County Extension Office located at 409 Fairground Street in Columbia during regular business hours.
