South Central Kentucky Outdoor Expo is Saturday, 3 Aug

The South Central Kentucky Outdoor Expo is an all day event Saturday, August 3, 2019 starting at 9amCT at the Adair County High School gym.

A decade ago a small group of Adair County folks went to work on the idea of providing the people of south central Kentucky with an outdoor expo. That makes this the 10th annual event!

The 2019 expo will feature many of the exhibitors and guest speakers that have been requested, as well as new ones.

Seminar opportunities include:

11amCT - Opportunities In Fishing For The Young Athlete, Tommy Hall, Bass Coach, University of Kentucky

12noonCT - Hunting Opportunities and Management Techniques at Fort Knox, David Jones, Forestry Program Mgr., USAG Fort Knox

1pmCT - CWD - Not Detected In Kentucky, Kyle Sams, Private Lands Deer Biologist, KDFWR

2pmCT - Kentucky’s Role in Monarch Conservation, Michaela Rogers, Monarch Plan Coordinator, KDFWR

Last year over 2,000 people took part, and the event just keeps growing.

Pastor Wayne Albertson, of Jones Chapel United Methodist Church, called himself a "casual observer" as he told volunteer Debbie Gist a tall tale. The event runs from 9am until 4pm.
