Columbia Fire Department responds to vehicle fire

The Columbia Fire Department responded to the Westbound Lane of the 46 MM Louis B. Nunn Cumberland Parkway on Sunday Morning, July 14, 2019, at 9:57amCT.

Upon arrival, firefighters found a semi tractor trailer engulfed in flames, Firefighters were able to get fire extinguished prior to the load catching on fire. The vehicle was owned by Branscums Storage, Inc., of Russell Springs, KY.

There were 19 firemen on the scene for around 45 minutes.
