Louise Williams Foster, 96, Green County, KY native She and her late husband, along with Joe and Peggy Jones, co-founded the Foster-Jones Funeral Home in Greensburg in 1957. member of the Greensburg United Methodist Church. She was actively involved in the activities of the Church and Green County throughout her lifetime. Louise Williams Foster passed away on June 28, 2019, in Bonita Springs, FL. She was 96 years of age. She was cremated. A memorial service will be conducted 1pmCT Saturday, July 13, 2019 at Greensburg United Methodist Church with Rev. Dale Curry and Rev. Gary Baker officiating. Burial will be in Greensburg Cemetery. Visitation will be after 12noonCT Saturday until the funeral hour. As a tribute to Louise's bright and lovely personality, please consider wearing a bright colored scarf to the service. She was preceded in death by her husband Joseph E. Foster who died in 1986. They were married for 45 years. She is survived by her son Joe W. Foster and his wife, Ginny, of Bonita Springs, FL Her oldest granddaughter, Nicole Gaskins and her husband Aaron and their three children Rader, Layla and Harbour of Fort Mill, SC Her youngest granddaughter Kelly Ussery and her husband Brian and their two children Anderson and Riley of Orlando, FL. She is also survived by a sister Mary Jean and her husband Bill Eaton of Louisville and a brother Bill and his wife Diane Williams of Lexington as well as a great many loving nieces and nephews. Moreover, being one of nine children, she was also preceded in death by four brothers, Henry Williams, Ivan T. Williams, Elmore Williams and Milton Williams and two sisters, Francis Williams Price and Elizabeth Williams Warner. Mrs. Foster, or "Beeshe" as she was known to family and friends, took great joy and pride in watching her sibling's 16 children, along with their grand-children and now great-grandchildren grow, develop and prosper over her lifetime. Mrs. Foster accepted Christ as her Savior at an early age and was a life long member of the Greensburg United Methodist Church. She was actively involved in the activities of the Church and Green County throughout her lifetime. She and her late husband, along with Joe and Peggy Jones, co-founded the Foster-Jones Funeral Home in Greensburg in 1957. She also kept the books and handled all of the administration functions of the business. That establishment and its subsequent owners continue at the same original location to this day. Also, she was the first Executive Director of the Greensburg Housing Authority. The family has requested that expressions of sympathy be donations to Greensburg United Methodist Church or to the Gideon Bible Fund. These can be made at the church or at Foster-Toler-Curry Funeral Home. Foster-Toler-Curry Funeral Home, 209 W Court Street, Greensburg, KY, is in charge of arrangements.
