Francine Burton, 74, Adair County, KY Francine Burton, 74, of Columbia died Saturday, June 29, 2019 in Somerset, KY. Funeral services will be 1pmCT Tuesday, July 2, 2019 at the Stotts-Phelps-McQueary Funeral Home with burial in the Bearwallow Cemetery. Visitation will be today, Monday, July 1, from 3-8pmCT at the funeral home and will continue on Tuesday morning until time for the service. Bro. Ralph Foster will be officiating and pallbearers will be Sam Janes, Matt Sroka, Isiah Larguero, John Fields, Willie Wooley, Nick Walls, Logan Sroka and Tristen Keith. Born in Chicago, IL she was the daughter of the late Paul and Anne Ricci Gaspar and wife of the late Marshall Burton. She is also preceded in death by a son-in-law Phillip Willis and several brothers-in-law & sisters-in-law. In recent years Francine was a resident of Summit Manor Nursing Home where she was very active and served in various positions for the residents. She enjoyed life to the fullest and loved spending time with her family and friends. She was a former member of the Peaknuckle Club in Chicago, IL. Survivors include: Four children - Marsha Woods (Robert), Marshall Lee Burton (Gola) and Christy Rena Burton all of Columbia and Tellia Willis of Alsip, IL; 14 grandchildren, 27 great-grandchildren and 6 great great grandchildren; Two siblings - Maria and Michael Gasper; A brother-in-law Avery Rooks of Columbia; An Uncle Billy Gasper (Marion); two special friends Mary Posey and Jo Vanick and several cousins, friends and other relatives.
