Kenneth E. Atwood, 84, Campbellsville, KY (1935-2019) Kenneth E. Atwood of Campbellsville passed away on Thursday, June 27, 2019. He was 84 years old. The funeral service will be held at 5pmET on Saturday, June 29, 2019 at Parrott & Ramsey Funeral Home, 418 Lebanon Ave., Campbellsville, KY, officiated by Minister Fella Wilson. A private burial will be held on Monday July 1, 2019 at Campbellsville Memorial Gardens. Visitation is requested from 3pmET until 5pmET on Saturday, June 29, 2019 at Parrott & Ramsey Funeral Home. Kenneth E. Atwood of Campbellsville, son of the late Charles F. Atwood and Gertie Mae Lee Atwood, was born May 13, 1935 in Casey County, Kentucky. He died at 10:12 P.M., Thursday, June 27, 2019 in Campbellsville. He was a professing Christian. Kenneth was proud of being a self-taught builder and contractor and had constructed several houses. He had also worked as a dairy farmer. Kenneth enjoyed camping and being on the water and showing his classic car for which he won several trophies. He united in marriage to Connie Clearcy Cottrell March 22, 1993 and she preceded him in death May 30, 2006. He is survived by four daughters and two sons: Kay Gaines, Kim McFarland and Donna Hall and husband, David of Campbellsville and Linda Seibers, Charles Atwood and Eugene Atwood of Ohio; four step-children: Sherry Goeke, Stephen Weddle, Richard Weddle and Roy Weddle of Ohio; eleven grandchildren: Ian Chase Seaborne, Jeremy Konnor McFarland, Chloe Hall, Frank Seibers, Jr., Benjamin Atwood, Charles Atwood, Jr., Rose Atwood, Emily Atwood, Lenia Atwood, Paul Atwood and Crystal Perez and husband, Rigo; several step-grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; several step-great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews and many other relatives and friends. He was the youngest of eight children and is survived by one sister, Rae Douglas of Liberty. Expressions of sympathy requested to be donations to Hosparus of Green River and may be made at Parrott & Ramsey Funeral Home. Parrott & Ramsey Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
