Jerry Warren Cross, 61, Barren Co., KY (1958-2019)

Jerry Warren Cross departed this life Thursday, June 6, 2019 in Franklin, Kentucky, having attained the age of sixty-one years, five months and four days.

Funeral Services will be held at 1pmCT Wednesday, June 12, 2019 at Foster-Toler-Curry Funeral Home in Greensburg, KY. Visitation will be 5-8pmCT Tuesday and after 7amCT Wednesday. Burial will be in Bowles Cemetery in the Center Community with Full Military Honors conducted by Marion County Veteran's Honor Guard. Ministers will be Rev. Bobby Neal and Rev. Ramon Hollins.

Pallbearers will be: Ricky Cross, Ricardo Reynaga, Jr, JR Puente, Billy Melson, Nathan Ray, Blake Marples, Dennis Whitlow and Tim Wilson. Honorary Pallbearers will be: Albert Ray Jr. (June Bug), Donnie Logsdon, Jim Wilson, Arnold Cross, Tommy Baker and Ronald Cross.



He was born January 2, 1958 in Barren County, KY to Robert "Bob" Cross and Callie Jackson Cross.

He had made a profession of faith in Christ and attended and was a member of The Lighthouse Church in Horse Cave, KY. He was a veteran, serving in the National Guard for six years. Besides his parents, he is preceded in death by three grandchildren: John Harvey Davis, Joshua Allen Davis and Rosalynn Grace Acosta Puente, his sister and brother-in-law: Ruth and Eugene Henson and brother-in-law: Shorty Wilson.

He is survived by

Seven children: Jessica Acosta and JR Puente of Jensen Beach, Florida, Angela and Billy Melson of Campbellsville, Jonathan Davis and Betty Bryant of Edmonton, Ernie Bryd of Cave City, Joshua Matthew Cross of Columbia, Bethany Cross of Lexington and Jesse Cross

Two brothers and one sister: Arnold and Susan Cross of Knob Lick, Ronald Cross of Indianapolis, Indiana, Lillian Wilson of Park City

A significant other: Kathy Beach of Munfordville and mother of two of his children: Shelia Whitehead of Greensburg

Fourteen grandchildren: Arianna Grace Acosta, Sasha Reynaga, Emily Reynaga, Ricardo Reynaga, Jr, Jayden Quinn Acosta, Isabella Faith Acosta, Kenedy Glass, Nathan Ray, Dustin Ray, Patiance Shirley, Jonathan Allen Davis, Jr., Timothy Allen Davis, Madelyn Leann Grace Davis and Hailee Marie Lynn Davis,

Four great grandchildren: Leighton Ray, Haysten Ray, Aaliyah Reynaga and Mia Rose Esquivel, plus a host of other relatives and friends.

The family has requested that expressions of sympathy be donations for the funeral expenses. These can be made at Foster-Toler-Curry Funeral Home in Greensburg.
