Letter: A poem from new ACHS graduate My name is Christopher Stuchell, and I recently graduated from ACHS as a part of the class of 2019. During my senior year, I took part in the Indian University dual-credit program and published two poems through LWC. I would love to put some of my poetry out there, and I feel that putting them on Columbia Magazine is a good way to do so. Please find enclosed my poetic submission, titled "Starlight." It has the theme of nature, which seems to be popular on the magazine. - Sincerely, Christopher "Starlight" By Christopher Stuchell Perhaps a beautiful coincidence That our stars align in such a way. Personalities collide and cause a Supernova of emotion every day. People come and go from our lives But stagnation only troubles those That forget about the beauty of the Stars that shine above our heads. Even during the day, twinkling stars Can be found in the eyes of those We love. Lest we forget such facts? Nay, we should always remember That Starlight shines upon us to Remind us about the beauties of The lives that we hold onto now. Christopher V. Stuchell is the 18 year old son of David Shelanskey and Judy Stuchell. During high school his involvement has included FPS, Academic Team, Beta, and NHS. Honors and awards received during high school include being Beta/NHS President. Christopher's plans after graduation are to attend college to major in English and become a teacher.
