Comment: Appreciates tale of hummingbird battle

About the battles of hummingbirds:
Sharon, thank you for the story of the hummingbirds in battle!! Loved every line of your story, like this sentence... , "We have observed hummingbirds at close range before, so their swift dives and pugnacious territorial maneuvers are no surprise." And this one, "Given the fierce dispositions of these tiny birds I have often remarked that it is a good thing they are not the size of robins--or crows--or bluejays!" I've never known the tiny, exotic birds had this kind of spirit so I learned as I read. As always, thank you for sharing! --- Linda Waggener
