Betty Goode, 93, Liberty, KY (1926-2019) Betty Goode, of Liberty, passed away on Wednesday, May 29, 2019, at Casey County Hospital. She was 93 years old. The funeral service will be held at 2pmET on Sunday, June 2, 2019, at McKinney-Brown Funeral Home, 752 Campbellsville St, Liberty, KY, with Bro. Gary Allen and Bro. Marshall Malone officiating. Burial will follow in Salem Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6pmET to 9pmET on Saturday, June 1, 2019, at McKinney-Brown Funeral Home. Born on January 30, 1926, in Casey County, Kentucky, she was a daughter of the late Taylor and Ada Harris Martin. Betty was a homemaker. She was a member of Liberty First Church of God. She enjoyed visiting and volunteering at the nursing home, as well as visiting the Senior Citizens Center daily. Betty is survived by two sons, Jay (Brenda) Goode of Liberty and Arnold (Karen) Goode of Liberty; two daughters, Shirley (Gary) Campbell of Louisville and Elizabeth Pelley of Liberty; a daughter-in-law, Brenda Jones Goode of Liberty; fourteen grandchildren; and twenty-three great-grandchildren. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Alfred Goode, who passed away on March 10, 1989; a son, Vallard Goode; and four siblings, Edward Martin, Chester Martin, Louise Cain and Arlie Grider. Pallbearers will be Robbie Goode, Greg Goode, Michael Goode, Barron Goode, Darren Goode, and James Campbell. Arrangements for Ms. Betty Goode are entrusted to McKinney-Brown Funeral Home.
