Christopher Rowe new ideomancer.com Featured Author

Columbia native Christopher Rowe has landed a 3-month gig as Featured Author on ideomancer.com, a web site devoted to speculative fiction.

In his first story there, Horsethieves and Preachermen, an old photograph turns out to be quite a bit more than a family heirloom, as Christopher blends some interesting last-century sociology with rural Kentucky family history and a hint of magical realism.
From the story: "I'll tell you first off that your Mama is going to pitch a fit on account of me showing you this picture. It's supposed to go to her but she's told me she don't want any truck with it. Right now it stands to go to my sister, it's always the next woman down that gets it. I'm trying to hang on to give it to you instead of your Aunt Rachel. Lord bury that woman quick that I might join Thee and take my rest."
Ideomancer will feature more of Christopher's stories and possibly an author interview in future issues.
