Spring Concert featured voices from ACHS and ACMS choirs

The Adair County High School music department spring concert was held May 16th with a full house at the Columbia United Methodist Church.

Music director Ginna Franklin said she was pleased with the turnout and felt that the kids did a great job.

Performances were given by the Adair County Middle School mixed choir, the Adair County High School men's ensemble and the Adair County high school women's ensemble.

She would like to thank everyone who came to support the students, the Columbia United Methodist Church for hosting them, and everyone who made a gift donation to help the students raise funds for their upcoming performances at Disney World and in New York City.

Students performing were:



ACHS Men's Ensemble - Andy Davis, Senior; and Cecil Pearson, Austin Curry and Billy Salmon, sophomores.

ACMS mixed choir - Elizabeth Smith, Patience Grubb, Melanie Coomer, Hayley Coffey, Maison Karnes, Kami Pike, Ayana Clabough, Katie Bloyd, Rylee Godsey, Stephanie Bell, Angel Studer, Jolie Crowe, Brody Blair, Michael Cook, Payton Coomer, Hannah Minshall, and Kailey Garmon.

ACHS women's ensemble - Ariel Anderson, Kayla eaten, Brianna Allen, Joaquin Domingo, Emma Grder, Madison Atchison, Cheyenne Walters, Christina Kirksey, Faith Berry, Madison Coomer, Autumn Reynolds, Raven Yike, Emma Rich, Ellie Belcher, Amie Padgett, and Destiny Lane.

One-year-old Elaina Trimm and her family attended the Adair County High Choir School Spring Concert in support of good friend and Music Director Ginna Franklin. With Elaina were parents Haley and Aaron and brother Klaus, three, from Edmonton. The annual music department concert was held May 16th at the Columbia United Methodist Church.
