Houdini enjoys new life as king of castle By Jeff D'Alessio, The News-Enterprise After a period of adjustment, Houdini, Hardin County's famous goat who became an iconic figure with his own social media page as he roamed for years along Interstate 65, is fitting in comfortably at Broadbent Wildlife Sanctuary. "He's doing well and he's gotten a little heavier since he got here," said Scott Hornback, Broadbent general manager. "He's been easy to take care of. ... He thinks he's king of the castle." Houdini has been living at the 4,600-acre sanctuary since early January after he was injured in October from a traffic mishap and found suffering from a right leg injury along I-65 in the Sonora area.
