Alma Faye Coomer, 77, Egypt community of Adair County, KY Alma Faye Coomer, 77, of Columbia, KY died Friday, May 10, 2019 at her residence. Funeral services will be 11amCT Wednesday, May 15, 2019 at the Egypt Christian Church with burial in the Morris Chapel Cemetery. Visitation will be on Tuesday from 4-8pmCT at the church. Bro. Paul Patton and Bro. Hugh Withers will be officiating and pallbearers will be Todd Robertson, Kevin Robertson, Trevor Robertson, Eric Coomer, Dexter Coomer and Victor Loy. Born in Adair County she was the daughter of the late Hollis and Clarice Brockman Robertson. Mrs. Coomer was a member of the Egypt Christian Church and the Wings Women's Group at the church. Faye enjoyed gardening, growing beautiful flowers, traveling across America, attending auctions where she always tried to outbid her sisters and most of all playing with her grandsons. She worked at Fruit of the Loom from 1960 thru 1992 in Campbellsville, KY and Greensburg, KY. Survivors include her husband Dalton Coomer of Columbia; a daughter Melinda McNaughton of Milford, CT; three grandsons Brayden Christian McNaughton, Calen Austin McNaughton and Caleb Black McNaughton; five siblings Shirley England (Charles), Brenda Bennett, Howard Robertson, Jerry Robertson (Phyllis) and Mike Robertson (Thelma) all of Columbia, KY; two special caregivers Anna Curry and Allison Bennett and several nieces, nephews, brothers & sisters-in-law and other friends and relatives. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by a sister Joyce Loy and her husband Don, a brother-in-law Jimmie Bennett and a sister-in-law Netta Robertson.
