Ida Belle Lee Thomas, 86, Casey County, KY (1932-2019) Ida Belle Lee Thomas, of Liberty, passed away on Wednesday, May 8, 2019, at Liberty Care and Rehab. She was 86. The funeral service will be held at 1pmCT/2pmET on Saturday, May 11, 2019, at McKinney-Brown Funeral Home with Bro. Jimmy Brown and Dominic Nelson officiating. Burial will follow in Antioch Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 12-2pmET on Saturday, May 11. Pallbearers will be Nicholas Thomas, Jacob Thomas, Thomas Weddle, Steve Sweeney, Ronnie Thomas and Donnie Goforth. Born on June 18, 1932, in Casey County, Kentucky, she was a daughter of the late Bill and Lorene Allen Lee. Ida was a retired cook from Liberty Elementary School. She was a faithful Christian throughout her life. She is survived by two sons, Kendall (Judy) Thomas of Yosemite and Randy (Kay) Thomas of Frankfort; three grandchildren, Nicholas Thomas, Natalie Thomas and Jacob Thomas; a niece, Mary Frances Reckers; and two nephews, Mark Edwards and Melvin Woodrum. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Therlow Jones "Snaz" Thomas, who passed away on October 24, 1998; five sisters, Hester Von Hedt, Gertrude Edwards, Betty Lempke, Alta Sweet and Janie Woodrum; and two brothers, Louie Lee and Wolford Lee.
