Men's Outdoor Track and Field placed 3rd at LWC home meet By Clayton Barefield The Lindsey Wilson men's outdoor track and field program finished in third at the Last Chance Meet on Wednesday hosted at Blue Raider Stadium. The Blue Raiders garnered 43 team points for the day, earning two A-Cuts and a B-cut as well as a few podium finishes. For the 4x400 squad, Holt Keeling, Daniel Fakunle, Jaylun Wallace, and Christian Whitehead earned a national A-standard with a second-place finish in a time of 3:14.00 and scored eight team points. Michael Redmon finished the long jump in third with a national A-standard qualifying distance of 7.21 meters, earning six team points in the process. Keeling also competed in the long jump, finishing in sixth and earned three points with a distance of 6.75 meters. Whitehead took home the 400-meter hurdle title with his time of 55.15, garnering 10 points for the Lindsey Wilson total. Wallace placed third in the 400-meter event, finishing with a time of 48.44 which was good for a national B-standard and six team points. Devon Hall chipped in two points for the Blue Raiders as he competed in the 400 with a time of 51.03, finishing in seventh. Austin Campbell finished second in the shot put and earned eight team points with his performance of 14.70 meters.
