Ross Whitehouse, 82, Green County, KY (1936-2019) Ross Whitehouse of Greensburg, KY, formerly of W. Palm Beach, FL, departed this life on Wednesday, May 1, 2019 at the Taylor Regional Hospital. He was 82 years, 10 months and 16 days of age. There will be no public visitation nor funeral in Green County at this time but a memorial service will be announced at a later date. He was the son of the late Gordon Whitehouse and Mary Williamson Whitehouse, born on June 15, 1936 in Canada. He had made a profession of faith in Christ and was a member of the Beech Grove Baptist Church. He was a self-employed contractor. He united in marriage to Barbara Ann Whitehouse in September of 1959 who preceded him in death March 15, 2018. Survivors include four daughters and two sons-in-law: Teresa Slaughter of Florida, Renee and Scot Keith of Greensburg, Lisa and Scott Smythe, and Sherry Whitehouse all of Florida; two sons and daughters-in-law: Ross and Claudia Whitehouse of Florida, and Wayne and Marsha Whitehouse; a sister: Shirley Murphy of Alabama; a brother and sister-in-law: Barry and Mary Whitehouse of Tennessee; 22 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends. Mr. Whitehouse was also preceded in death by a grandchild: Justin Whitehouse; four brothers and four sisters. Cremation was chosen. A memorial service for Me. Ross Whitehouse will be held at a later date at the Dorsey E. Earl Smith Funeral Home in Lakeworth, Florida.
