James Tilford Stotts, 82, Adair County, KY James Tilford Stotts, 82, of Columbia died Sunday, April 21, 2019 at his residence. He chose cremation and wishes to be laid to rest next to his deceased wife, Pauline Burton Stotts at the Forest Lawn Memory Gardens in Greenwood, IN. There will be no local services. Born in Columbia, KY he was the son of the late George and Evelyn Bragg Stotts and husband of the late Pauline Burton Stotts. He is survived by a daughter Darla Stotts (Jan) of Ft. Lauderdale, FL; a son Jon Stotts (Francis) of Louisville, KY; a grandson Jon Stotts, Jr. (Kristen) and two great granddaughters of Cape Coral, FL; two sisters Delores Daymude of Corpus Christi, TX and Carol Lombard-Huggins of San Antonio, TX; his companion of 22 years Shirley Burton of Columbia; four step-children Cindy Burton, Allan Trent (Missie), Bonnie Trent and Bobbie Sue Byerly (Clayton); several step-grandchildren and great-grandchildren. All of whom loved him and was beside him through everything. James was a very outspoken and opinionated man, quite stubborn yet very loving and passionate with those closest to him. He will be greatly missed. The family will have a private memorial service at a later date and in lieu of flowers donation may be made to Shirley Burton. Soar Free Daddy "My Way" You Did.
