Showers, then SNOW, as temperatures cool tonight

It's currently 59F at the Adair County Mesonet station. Showers are likely today, with thunderstorms also possible after 4pmCT. Otherwise it will be cloudy, with a temperature falling to around 48F by 3pmCT. Northwest wind 5 to 11 mph, with gusts as high as 20 mph. The chance of precipitation is 70%.

Tonight will bring rain showers before 2amCT, then snow showers between 2am and 5am, then snow showers, possibly changing to a mix of rain and snow by around 5amCT. Some thunder is also possible. The overnight low will be around 32F. West wind around 10 mph. The chance of precipitation tonight is 100%. New snow accumulation of less than one inch is possible.

On Saturday, snow showers are likely, possibly mixed with rain, becoming all rain after 8amCT. Cloudy, with a high near 47F, and west wind 9 to 14 mph, with gusts as high as 24 mph. Saturday's chance of precipitation is 70%. New snow accumulation of less than a half inch is possible.

Saturday night brings a 20 percent chance of showers before 1amCT. Cloudy during the early evening, then gradually clearing, with an overnight low around 38F. West wind 5 to 9 mph.

Sunday will bring clear skies and a return to warmer temperatures, with an expected high of 69F.
