Walter Eugene 'Gene' Hoots Memorial Scholarship open

The Walter Eugene 'Gene' Hoots Memorial Scholarship is set up in memory of Gene Hoots who was a friend to many, a community volunteer, and an accomplished electrical contractor.

The scholarship is awarded to help an Adair County High School current student (or alumni), pursuing secondary education in a vocational field.



Requirements:

1. Applicant has earned a minimum of a 2.5 cumulative grade point average (GPA). (Based on a 4.0 system)

2. Applicant has demonstrated community service.

3. Submit application, validation of GPA, essay, acknowledgement form, and one letter of support (not completed by a relative). All should be submitted together.
