Imogene Evans Holt, 80, Casey Co., KY (1938-2019) Imogene loved spending time in the library and solving sudoku puzzles. She was a mother to all that knew her. Imogene Evans Holt passed away on April 14, 2019, at Baptist Health in Lexington, Kentucky. Imogene was 80 years of age. Funeral services will be held at 2pmET on Thursday, April 18, 2019, at McKinney-Brown Funeral Home, 752 Campbellsville St, Liberty, KY, with Bro. Hershel Lawhorn officiating. Burial will follow in South Fork Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 6pmET until 9pmET on Wednesday, April 17, 2019, at McKinney-Brown Funeral Home. Born August 24, 1938, in Casey County. She was a daughter of the late Ernest and Monta Propes Evans. Imogene loved spending time in the library and solving sudoku puzzles. She was a mother to all that knew her. Imogene is survived by one daughter, Stephanie (Gari) Maybrier, of Danville; a chosen daughter, Karen Watson Wethington; and numerous chosen grandchildren. In addition to her beloved husband, Clifton Holt, Imogene is preceded in death by six brothers, Mack, Roy, R.C., Delmar, Earl, and Ralph Evans; and three sisters, Chloe Devine, Ruth Tucker, and Lillian Southerland. Josh Devine, Matthew Devine, Charles Tucker, Curtis Evans, James Evans, and Greg Evans will serve as pallbearers. Megan Devine, Alyssa Devine, Kendra Wethington, and Kara Wethington will serve as honorary pallbearers. Arrangements entrusted to McKinney-Brown Funeral Home. Online condolences at mckinneybrown.com.
