Womens' Health Day Offered At Adair County Health Department This article first appeared in issue 34, and was written by Staff. Virgie Claycomb, ARNP, asks that we help remind women of a special opportunity to take advantage of FREE or low cost mammograms, pap smears, cholesterol checks, and urine checks. The services will be provided on Monday, May 21, in a comfortable atmosphere of sharing, with refreshments provided. Hours are 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Health Department and the day is co-sponsored with the AC Women's Cancer Coalition. Call to make an appointment, 384-2286.
