Dr. Michael Rice from Glasgow to speak at CU

Campbellsville, KY - Dr. Michael D. Rice, pastor of First Baptist Church in Glasgow, KY, will be Campbellsville University's Holy Week chapel speaker at 10amET on Wednesday, April 17, 2019, in Ransdell Chapel at 401 N. Hoskins Ave., Campbellsville, KY.

Chapel is designed to provide opportunities for corporate worship and exposure through a variety of informative speakers and presentations.

All chapels are open to the public free of charge and are streamed live on the internet at wlcutv.com.


Rice was appointed to the Glasgow Board of Ethics by the Mayor of Glasgow in 2011. He serves as the Board's secretary. He has had the privilege to preach revivals and conferences across this nation.

Rice has also served as first vice moderator of the Union District Association. He is the former president and dean of the Baptist Unified Christian Leadership Conference, an auxiliary of the General Association of Baptists in Kentucky.

He served as the senior pastor at Macedonia Baptist Church in Auburn, Ky. for 17 years.

He received his Bachelor of Arts in Biblical Studies, Master of Arts in Theology and Doctrine of Theology from the Great Commission Bible College and Theological Seminary.

He was born April 19, 1961 to Bobby Rice and Linda Joyce Rice Kirk. He is married to Mary Elizabeth Robinson Rice, and they are the parents of Raissa Rice Britt and Jordan Rice. They have three grandchildren, Cassius, Mikah and Javion.
