GossHall Systems selects Elizabethtown for corporate HQ By Nicole Burton/Jack Mazurak Frankfort, KY - Gov. Matt Bevin announced today delivery services provider GossHall Systems LLC will build a corporate headquarters in Elizabethtown with a $775,000 investment expected to create 20 jobs. To encourage the investment and job growth in the community, the Kentucky Economic Development Finance Authority (KEDFA) in February preliminarily approved the company for tax incentives up to $300,000 through the Kentucky Business Investment program. The performance-based incentive allows a company to keep a portion of its investment over the agreement term through corporate income tax credits and wage assessments by meeting job and investment targets. In addition, GossHall can receive resources from the Kentucky Skills Network. Through the Kentucky Skills Network, companies can receive no-cost recruitment and job placement services, reduced-cost customized training and job training incentives. "GossHall Systems' decision to locate their new corporate headquarters in Hardin County is a testament to Kentucky's unparalleled logistics capabilities," Gov. Bevin said. "The company's home and business delivery service provides exceptional value to the Bluegrass State. We are grateful that GossHall's continued growth in the commonwealth will create increased opportunities for Kentuckians." GHS, which provides last-mile delivery services for a large corporate partner, plans to construct a 10,000-square-foot corporate office on a 3.7-acre site in Hardin County. The office will manage its operations in Louisville and Lexington. GHS began operating in Louisville shortly after it received a contract to provide delivery services in 2015. The company launched its Lexington operations in November 2018. The Louisville and Lexington operations currently employ 90 and 55 people, respectively, and GHS plans to increase its Lexington staffing in the near future. Additionally, the new corporate headquarters will serve GHS' operation in Nashville, stemming from a contract awarded in 2018. "On behalf of Gosshall Systems LLC, I wish to thank Governor Bevin, his team in Frankfort, as well as our local leaders and elected officials for their leadership and the opportunity to locate our new headquarters to Elizabethtown," GossHall Systems president Mike Hall said. "This project would not have been possible if not for the support that we have received from the State of Kentucky and in Elizabethtown. Gosshall Systems is a 'Last-Mile Delivery' company specializing in delivery from large retailers to homes and businesses throughout Kentucky and Tennessee. We are humbled, honored and excited to be recognized by the state and this community for the development of our business." Sen. Dennis Parrett, of Elizabethtown, said the company's new investment will bring additional opportunities to the region. "On behalf of the residents, businesses, officials and community leaders, I want to welcome GossHall," Sen. Parrett said. "We are pleased that the company is locating its headquarters in Elizabethtown and bringing with it new possibilities. The new jobs are exciting, and we stand ready with a skilled workforce to meet their needs. I look forward to a long and prosperous partnership." Rep. Jim DuPlessis, of Elizabethtown, credited his community for attracting this new opportunity. "GossHall Systems' decision to locate in Elizabethtown demonstrates our community's strong workforce and ability to attract quality jobs in the 21st century economy," Rep. DuPlessis said. "These 20 new jobs and location of a new corporate headquarters are exciting news for Hardin County, and I want to thank GossHall Systems for their support and commitment to our community." Elizabethtown Mayor Jeff Gregory also touted his city and its people's ability to bring in new investment. "GossHall Systems' plans for a new corporate headquarters in Elizabethtown speak to the city's incredible quality of place and skilled workforce," Mayor Gregory said. "We're proud to welcome GossHall Systems to Elizabethtown." Elizabethtown offers a good match for the company's needs, said Rick Games, president and COO of Elizabethtown-Hardin County Industrial Foundation, which assisted in the site selection process. "Elizabethtown is a great fit for this growing company," Games said. "We're thankful for their investment in our community and for the creation of new good jobs."
