Trooper Young observed the Gallant had defective equipment so he initiated a traffic stop.

Jimenez was charged with trafficking controlled substance 100 grams or more, rear license plate not illuminated, no operator's license and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Jimenez was lodged in the Bullitt County jail. The investigation is ongoing by Trooper Elliot Young.
