Jeffrey Lynn Merriman, Taylor County, KY (1953-2019)

"He was the most important, beautiful, kind hearted and caring man I have ever known. He was always grateful and positive. No one can ever fill the void he has left."

By Lisa Lalik

February 20, 2019

I lost my precious brother today. Though I selfishly want him here with me I know he is finally Home with his Father in Heaven.

The family is planning a Family Celebration of Jeff's life April 20, 2019 at the residence of Mark and Lisa Lalik.

Jeff was born in Columbus, OH on April 17, 1953, the beloved adopted son of William and Ruth Merriman. He is survived by one brother; Tim Merriman of Upper Sandusky; and two sisters; Lisa Lalik of Campbellsville, KY; and Debbie Merriman of Cleveland, TN. He is also survived by nine nieces and nephews, and 22 great nieces and nephews.

He was my brother and one of my best friends. He was the most important, beautiful, kind hearted, and caring man I have ever known. He was always grateful and positive. No one can ever fill the void he has left.

Due to an injury at birth Jeff suffered from Cerebral Palsy his entire life. Because Jeff faced his disabilities bravely without complaining and with a smile on his face, he helped all of us who knew him well to be a better person.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society, United Cerebral Palsy (UCP) http://www.ucp.org or the charity of your choice.

Parrott & Ramsey Funeral Home, 418 Lebanon Avenue, Campbellsville, KY, is in charge of arrangements.
