Kentucky Shakespeare program visits ACES By Debbie Cowan ACES students recently enjoyed a visit from actors with the Kentucky Shakespeare program. Students were treated to a live performance of The Taming of the Shrew, Shakespeare's classic comedy about the relationship between the scheming Petruchio and headstrong Kate. The play provided a framework for students to identify relationship dynamics, self-respect and bullying behavior. The actors also visited with the Camp SAFARI after-school program and taught students a lesson on Renaissance dance. The program was sponsored by The Family Resource Center and funded in part by donations from the Lindsey Wilson College Bonner program. This story was posted on 2019-02-28 06:06:52
