LWC Softball travels to Bethel for doubleheader

The Lindsey Wilson softball team travels to Bethel (TN) for a doubleheader starting at 4pmCT in Mckenzie, Tennessee against Bethel.

LWC softball (4-0) returns to action after sweeping of Union (KY) and Taylor (IN) at the LWC Softball Classic on February 14-15.


As a team, Lindsey Wilson holds a .315 batting average on 34 hits, adding 25 RBI's. The Blue Raiders rank first in the NAIA in home runs per game average with 2.25. LWC ranks ninth in the NAIA in Slugging percentage with a .620 percentage this season.

Callum Pilgrim leads the Blue Raiders with eight hits in 12 at-bats and two home runs. Pilgrim ranks seventh in the NAIA in slugging percentage at 1.333 this season. Jaydee Boursaw is the other Blue Raider batting above .500 as she has seven hits in 14 at-bats with three home runs. She ranks seventh in NAIA in total home runs.

Bethel (2-0) returns to action after defeating William Woods (MO) 6-3 and 2-1 in a double-header on February 14 in the Wildcat's season home opener.

As a team, they have a .358 batting average, with Amanda Perry leading the Wildcats with four hits in six at-bats this season. The Wildcat pitching staff is led by Billie Douglas, who has a 1.00 earned run average, while throwing two complete games this season.
