Kathy Lynn Davis Brock, 62, Greensburg, KY (1956-2019)

She was a Nurse Practitioner for Family Practice Associates of Russell County and was a member of the Kentucky Nurses Association.

Kathy Lynn Davis Brock passed away on Saturday, February 23, 2019 in Louisville, KY. She was 62 years old.

The funeral services for Mrs. Kathy Lynn Davis Brock will be conducted at 10amCT on Thursday, February 28, 2019, at the Cowherd and Parrott Funeral Home, 206 S. Main St., Greensburg, KY, with burial to follow in the Shirrell Family Cemetery. Bro. Caleb Owens and Bro. Steve Stewart will be officiating.

Visitation is requested from 2pmCT until 8pmCT on Wednesday at the Cowherd and Parrott Funeral Home and after 7amCT on Thursday until time of the funeral service.


Mrs. Kathy Lynn Davis Brock of Greensburg, Kentucky, daughter of Leon G. Davis of Greensburg and the late Ruby Laverne Benningfield Davis, was born on Monday, April 30, 1956 and departed this life on Saturday, February 23, 2019 in Louisville, Kentucky. She was 62 years, 9 months, and 25 days of age.

She had made a profession of faith in Christ and was a member of the Russell Creek Missionary Baptist Church. She was a Nurse Practitioner for Family Practice Associates of Russell County and was a member of the Kentucky Nurses Association.

Besides her father she is survived by her husband of 44 years, Larry Brock of Greensburg, having united in marriage on February 15, 1975.

Other survivors include a daughter and son-in-law: Laryn and Clark Rueda of Greensburg; a grandson: Damen Clark Rueda of Greensburg; a sister: Teresa Stewart of Greensburg; a brother and sister-in-law: Tim and Sue Davis of Greensburg; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.

Mrs. Brock was also preceded in death by a brother-in-law: Michael Stewart.

Pallbearers: Steve Stewart, Tim Davis Jr., Leo Curry Jr., Jason Benningfield, Ricky Gilbert, Paul Campbell.

Memorials are suggested to the Kathy Brock Nursing Scholarship Fund, which can be made at the funeral home.
