Joyce Burton, 85, Adair County, KY (1933-2019) She was a member of Tabernacle Christian Church and retired from the Commonwealth of Kentucky Social Services Department. Her husband, Harlan Burton, survives. Joyce Burton, 85, of Columbia, KY (the Neatsville community) died Saturday, February 23, 2019 at 10:45pmCT at her home. Her funeral service will be held Wednesday, February 27, 2019 at 1pmCT at Grissom-Martin Funeral Home with Bro. Richard Martin officiating. Burial will follow in Haven Hill Cemetery. Visitation is Tuesday from 4-8pmCT and anytime Wednesday before service. She was born April 21, 1933, in Washington County, KY to the late Ray and Annie Lou Noe Logsdon, a member of Tabernacle Christian Church and retired from the Commonwealth of Kentucky Social Services Department. Survivors include: Her husband - Harlan Burton of Columbia One son - Gary Shoemaker and his wife Riana of Pineville One daughter - Linda McNalley and her husband Bill of Colorado Springs, Colorado Three step-sons - Jeffrey Burton and his wife Barbara of Shepherdsville, Ronald Burton and his wife Sherry of Manchester, Tennessee, David Burton and his wife Dawn of Louisville One step-daughter - Luann Burton of Prospect Two sisters - Frances Russell of Springfield and Norma Pinkston of Mackville Five grandchildren and six step-grandchildren Grissom-Martin Funeral Home, 200 Campbellsville Street, Columbia, KY, is in charge of arrangements.
