LWC Basketball teams to face Life again in Pikeville

The Lindsey Wilson women's basketball team wrapped up their regular season schedule with an 87-85 loss to Life University on Senior Day on Saturday at Biggers Sports Center.

The men faired better, wrapping up their regular season with 90-65 victory over Life. Kel Stotts led the Blue Raiders scoring 22 points after going 7-of-13 from the field and shooting 45.4 percent from beyond the arc. Matthew Eldridge added his fourth double-double this season with 21 points and 10 rebounds. Two other Blue Raiders notched double-digit points in JR Adams with 17 points and Shakaris Laney with 15 points.

Both the Mens and Womens teams will face Life University again in the 2019 MSC Basketball Tournament, set to kick off in Pikeville on Friday.


The Lindsey Wilson women's basketball team will face fifth-seeded Life at 11amCT on Friday, March 1, at the Eastern Kentucky Expo Center, 126 Main St, Pikeville, KY.

Tipoff for the Lindsey Wilson men's game with Life is at 3pmCT on Saturday, March 2, at the Eastern Kentucky Expo Center.

The Blue Raiders men are the tournament's No. 6 seed after concluding the regular season with a 16-14 record, including 6-8 in the MSC.
