LWC Women's Bowling completes singles and doubles competition

Bowling Green, KY - The Lindsey Wilson women's bowling team wrapped up the first day of competition at the Mid-South Conference Championships with the singles and doubles championships on Friday at Southern Lanes in Bowling Green.

Madeline Cain was the top Blue Raider finisher in the singles portion of the competition. She posted a ninth-place finish, racking up 922 total pins, including two games over the 200 pin mark. Anna Etherington finished in 19th place individually with 874 pins.

Life's (GA) Amber Beene and Hannah Walker took home the Doubles championship while Campbellsville University's Katlyn Hoeh won the Singles Championship.


Samantha Endicott finished in 26th place individually with 851 pins and added Lindsey Wilson's highest finish in the doubles portion of the competition when she teamed up with Kelsey Grayson. The duo finished in 15th place and combined for 1,695 total pins. Grayson finished in 30th place individually after knocking down 844 pins.

Cane and Madelin Zubricky finished in 17th place with 1,684 pins as Etherington and Robin Ford teamed up to finish in 31st place. Taylor Warren and Kristina Waller rounded out the Blue Raiders in the doubles portion of the competition, finishing in 34th place.

Zubricky, Waller, Warren and Ford also competed in the individual portion of the championship finishing in 54th, 62nd, 74th, and 77th, respectively.

The Blue Raiders return to action on Saturday as the team bracket competition begins at 9amCT. Sixth-seeded Lindsey Wilson opens day two of competition against 11th-seeded Cumberland (TN).
