Royce Leland Campbell, 87, Windsor, KY (1931-2019)

Royce was a man loved by all and really enjoyed helping people. He was a loving husband, father and grandfather and will be truly missed.

Royce Leland Campbell of Windsor, Ky died Friday, February 22, 2019 at his home. He was 87 years old.

The funeral service for Royce Leland Campbell will be 10amCT on Monday, February 25, 2019 at the Bernard Funeral Home Chapel, 367 N. Main St., Russell Springs, KY, with Bro. Jimmy Molden officiating and special music by Mary Ruth Campbell. Interment will follow in the Lakeside Memorial Gardens in Somerset.

Visitation is requested from 5pmCT until 8pmCT on Sunday and after 8amCT on Monday.


He was born October 5, 1931 in Pulaski County to the late Finis & Bina Bernard Campbell.

Royce was a farmer, truck driver and the founder of Royce Campbell & Sons Trucking.

He served in the United States Army and was a member of Bradley's Pleasure Baptist Church.

Survivors include:
  • His wife: Phyllis Pierce Campbell, Windsor
  • 2 sons: Roger (Yvonne) Campbell, Windsor, Ronnie (Mary Ruth) Campbell, Windsor
  • 3 grandchildren: Scottie (Kandi) Campbell, Lindsey (Corey) Scott, and McKinsey (Colton) Matney
  • 3 great grandchildren: Gavin Scott Campbell, Adlee Campbell Scott, and Landree Lane Matney
