Remembering Junior and Ed Commentary from a reader: I would like to give one version of a man that I knew for about two years personally, and knew of a long time before that but actually met and had conversations with him for a couple years. The caliber of this man cannot be surpassed in this town, he was probably the most adamant stubborn hardheaded good hearted people you would ever meet in your life. He answered my calls night and day. I was introduced to him by another good friend of mine, Ed Waggener. They both laughed and joked with me, both called me, both gave me the utmost respect. I cared for both of them and I've lost both of them in six months. They were great people. There are people that this community cannot replace. I had a boy working for me a few years ago ended up between jobs that I helped out, and then Junior took him under his wing, thought the world of him. "You like Notre Dame football? Don't have tickets for him to go see Notre Dame play football?" Jr. was going to fly him up here out of his own pocket to go see Notre Dame. The boy didn't feel his requirements and had issues but Junior was the caliber of a person, if he liked you he would do anything in the world for you. Jr made a difference in my thoughts and prayers, Ed did too. They appreciated people, they did not judge, they appreciated a person for their work ethic, their attitude, their insight, and they took that to heart. That is so rare today. My heart has been broken in less than six months with the loss of both of these individuals. If I'm not mistaken I believe Jr was on the phone when Ed went, and if I'm not mistaken I think I was the last on to talk to Jr before he died. We've lost a caliber of people that cannot be replaced there's people that don't understand it they will in time because they won't have an Ed or Jr to go to. Two friends are reunited right now and laughing at everyone of us. They were great people, they were honest people they were hard-working people, dedicated each of them in their professions or they chose to dedicate it to the fact is both of them dad working they're both sorely missed, they're both reunited and they're both in my prayers always!
