It's currently 25F at the Adair County Mesonet station. Expect mostly cloudy skies through mid-morning, then gradual clearing, with a high near 32F. Northwest wind 9 to 13 mph, with gusts as high as 22 mph.

Tonight should be mostly clear and cold, with a low around 16F, and wind chill values as low as 5. Northwest wind around 9 mph becoming northeast after midnight.

Saturday will be mostly sunny and a little warmer, with a high near 39F. Saturday night will bring increasing clouds, with a low around 26F, and east wind 5 to 7 mph.

Sunny skies after a 40 degree drop in temperatures

We have beautiful sunshine today in Columbia along with an unbelievable 40 degree change in the temperature over the last 24 hours. This time yesterday we were headed to a high of 72. Today's high is predicted to be 32. What's that old saying - if you don't like Kentucky weather...?"
