LWC Wrestling heads to Campbellsville on Thursday night By Clayton Barefield The No. 8-ranked Lindsey Wilson wrestling team heads to Mid-South Conference foe Campbellsville University on Thursday night at 6pmCT at Campbellsville's Wrestling Facility, 315 Meader Street Campbellsville, KY. Thursday's dual against the Tigers is set to be the third meeting this season after seeing action twice at the NWCA National Duals. Both teams picked up a win at the event as Campbellsville took the first dual 24-11 while Lindsey Wilson won the second dual 27-13. The Blue Raiders (4-1 MSC) return to action after a tough 21-20 home loss against Life (Ga.) on Tuesday night. Lindsey Wilson's projected lineup for the dual is Jacob Dodd, Brady Moser, Trent Johnson, Luis Puig, Derrick Smallwood, Mark Taijeron, Bryce Hoffman, Brett Bradford, Lucas Miozza, Avery Buckman, Raynel Brown, and Brandon Reed. Eight Blue Raiders who are listed in the projected lineup are nationally ranked in the NAIA. Reed leads the team as the highest ranked in the No. 1 spot. There are four other grapplers in the top-10 with Smallwood and Johnson ranked No. 6 in their weight classes. Bradford ranks No. 8 and Moser ranks no. 9 to round out those in the top-10. Taijeron is the highest Blue Raider outside of the top-10 with the No. 14 ranking as Miozza and Buckman both rank No. 20 in their weight classes.
