Campbell to speak at next Genealogical Society meeting By Mike Watson The next regular meeting of the Adair County Genealogical Society will be February 4, 2019, at 5pmCT, at the Adair County Public Library, 307 Greensburg Street Columbia, KY. Darlene Franklin Campbell will be reprising and enhancing her two previous subjects. Darlene Franklin Campbell is a native of Adair County, expert researcher, teacher and speaker, as well as a noted writer. The subject of her talk will be the Melungeons and their place in our history, with tie-in to DNA, etc. This is not a repeat of Darlene's previous programs. The Adair County Genealogical Society meets on the first Monday night of the month (with holiday exceptions) at 5pmCT, in the Adair County Public Library, 307 Greensburg Street, Columbia, KY 42728; for more information call the Library at 270-384-2472.
