By Larry Smith, General Manager, The Big Dawg, FM 99.9 radio UPDATE - NOW CLOSED: The plan had been for Adair County Schools to be on a one-hour delay, however, snow changed the plan. In a statement Monday evening by Superintendent Pam Stephens, she said, "if your bus runs normally at 7:30 you can expect it one hour later tomorrow morning, but their getting-home time will be as usual." She reminded parents to keep kids inside until they see the bus coming - the temperatures will not be safe for kids to stand outside waiting for busses. Cumberland County Schools will be closed on Wednesday, January 30. Green County Schools announced that they will be closed on Wednesday, January 30, 2019 due to the extreme cold weather, however, the buildings will remain open in case any child needs a warm place to go. Taylor County Schools will be closed due to the extreme weather and the flu numbers. Campbellsville Independent Schools will also be closed January 30, 2019.
